MY doula Services
As a doula, I support women’s birth choices whatever they may be. How you choose to birth is deeply personal to you. There are no wrong or right ways to birth and what may work for one woman, can be wildly different to what works for another.
Birth can also be unpredictable, your plans may change as the circumstances of your pregnancy change, or situations may come up during labour that changes the way you birth. Whatever happens, my focus remains on supporting you and your family by being a familiar friendly face throughout your journey and… ,
Whilst you decide upon your birth plans, I ensure that all the families I support have access to balanced information that leads to informed choices, and I uphold those choices for women during their most vulnerable moments.
Along the way, I give emotional and physical support to them and their families, holding space for their hopes and fears, debriefing from previous experiences, helping them find what feels right for them, and to empower themselves. This looks different for every woman and her baby - including the level or kind of support I provide. After building a relationship with the families I support in pregnancy, and establishing the desired roles of everyone in the birth team (I don't replace partners, I work alongside them), I use all that I know to ensure the birth experience is as positive an experience
Doula packages
All doula packages include a free initial meeting to see whether we are a good match for each other. This typically lasts between 1 to 2 hours.

At least 2 antenatal appointments, up to 2 hours long each.
Continuous pregnancy support over the phone for you and your partner. I will respond to messages or calls within 24 hours, and immediately during the on-call period.
6 week on-call period for the birth. More for multiples. I can be on call for up to 2 women at a time,
Labour and birth support which can be from the initial onset of early labour up to 6 hours post-birth. Some women may want me to attend later on in the labour, or want me to leave sooner.
2 postpartum visits within the first 6 weeks after the birth, up to 2 hours long each. These can be used for whatever you feel you need. For example; birth debriefing, household chores, helping to care for the baby whilst you rest or wash, or helping with the older children.
1 postpartum food parcel.

1 food parcel during the final weeks of your pregnancy.
